Rajdeep Sardesai, a consulting editor with the India Today Group, and Sagarika Ghose, a consulting editor at the Times of India, are career journalists who have provided commentary on India’s political climate for over two decades. Together, they have won more than 100 national and international awards for journalism, and Sardesai received the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor, in 2008. Sardesai and Ghose discussed the evolution of the media landscape in India and explored the political impact of journalism around the world. Professor Irfan Nooruddin served as a moderator.
